PROF. (MRS.) USEN GODWIN IKPE

PRESIDENT

Prof. (Mrs) Usen Godwin Ikpe is the Chairman of Dora-Paul Empowerment Initiatives, an outfit that has impacted and modelled many career paths through consultancy and human capacity development. She believes in hard work and excellence. She is from Ikot Obiokoi in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, married in Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

She has a Masters' degree in Curriculum Studies and Ph.D in Educational Management and Planning.  She has over 30 years of Teaching, Consulting, Management and Humanitarian Experience.

Prof. Usen G. Ikpe was an Executive Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Technical Schools Board between 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016 she was the Board Chairman of Akwa Ibom State Scholarships Board. During this time, she was the Chairman of all Chairmen of Boards, Parastatals and Commissions. Two of her most outstanding achievements were that she brought foreign expatriate for the training of teachers on the installation and maintenance of solar energy technology in the six Technical Colleges in Akwa Ibom State. Also, during her tenure, 150 Akwa Ibom youths were given scholarships to study Information and Communication Technology in a University in India. She has equally served in many other capacities in the State, among them: Special Adviser for Women and Cooperative, Etinan Local Government Area in 2004; Member, Peace and Conflict Resolution Committee, Akwa Ibom State from 2007 to 2011.

Prof Usen G. Ikpe is a member of the following educational and professional bodies: British Education Leadership and Management Association (BELMAS); Association for Promoting Quality Education in Nigeria (APQEN); Nigerian Education Research Reporters Association (NERRA); Inter Africa Committee (IAC) Nigeria, National Association of Educational Administration and Planning (NAEAP); Curriculum Organization of Nigeria (CON); Humanitarian Advanced Club of  Nigeria (HACN) and was Vice President, South-South (2016) - National Association of Teachers of Technology (NATT). She is also a member of National Council for Women society (NCWS). Her excellent performances in Academics and Outstanding contributions to society generally have not gone unnoticed as several organizations have accorded her with various awards. Her humanitarian services has touched many lives throughout the federation.
